Shirley Hughes’s son Tony Hughes, an aspiring model, was murdered by the serial killer on May 24, 1991, aged 31.Shirley, who is portrayed by Karen Malina White in the 10-part series, said she hasn’t been able to face watching the show at all.Evan Peters takes on the role of the serial killer in the Netflix series It’s been over 20 years since her son was killed, and naturally, Shirley still struggles to speak about his murder., blasting those behind the production.
Once in prison, Dahmer, portrayed by American Horror Story star Evan Peters, died at the age of 34 after being beaten to death by another inmate.
