Doctor Michael Mosley has recommended that people ban certain fruits from their diet if they want to lose weight.
Michael noted: "Your waist should measure no more than half your height. Too much belly fat leads to increased risk of certain cancers, heart disease and Type 2 diabetes." For meat-free eaters, beans - particularly edamame - dairy, nuts and seeds can provide a good amount of protein too. Snacking should be avoided in general, but those who require a little pick me up should be looking at products like nuts, seeds or non-starchy vegetables.
