Sam Malik teaches in 5 different languages
A Nottingham driving instructor named the best in the region has outlined the three locations his learners can often find the most challenging to tackle. Sam Malik, 49, started up his Lesson Plus Driving School at the end of 2018 after finding that being a driving instructor was the perfect fit for his calm personality.
Mr Malik says his calm personality is a particular asset given the often "challenging" nature of teaching people to drive on the busy roads of Nottingham. In particular, he named three locations that his learners can often find the most difficult. In learning to become an instructor, Mr Malik mentioned trainers Alex Orchiston and Lou Walsh as having been instrumental to getting him where he is today, with Lou Walsh having sadly just passed away at the age of 50 from a brain haemorrhage. Mr Malik said: "I have dedicated my award to Lou Walsh because she was the UK's number one trainer, she helped me a lot, and what happened was very, very sad. I had met her at the awards ceremony this year.
