Manchester’s best South East Asian restaurants assemble to help those in food poverty
Some of Manchester’s finest South-East Asian restaurants are getting together in a bid to raise money to help beat food poverty in the city. Upscale Chinese eatery Tattu and newcomer Neon Tiger are among those getting together for the fundraiser for non-profit Eat Well MCR.
On the menu will be dim sum, sushi and sashimi, special curries and platters of fragrant rice, fresh Asian-style salads and ramens, as well as a wealth of desserts. World-famous illustrator, artist and DJ Stan Chow will be pitching up on the night too to provide the soundtrack.The event will be happening at Hello Oriental, who will also be providing dishes on the night.
The menu will go like this - an arrival cocktail and snack from Neon Tiger, a selection of starters, sushi, sashimi, dim sum and salads from Hello Oriental, Rice Over Everything and Tattu, then a middle course from New Wave Ramen. It's followed by a selection of main courses from Tampopo, Hello Oriental and Rice Over Everything, and then desserts from Hello Oriental and Tattu.
