UK airspace has been affected by a technical fault
Passengers using Manchester Airport have been warned they could face delays after UK airspace was affected by a technical fault. National Air Traffic Services , the country’s leading provider of air traffic control services, said it is experiencing a 'technical issue' and has applied traffic flow restrictions to maintain safety.
"This may cause disruption to some flights at Manchester Airport. Please check the status of your flight and arrive at the airport at the time they advise. We will provide further updates as soon as possible."NATS said: "We are currently experiencing a technical issue and have applied traffic flow restrictions to maintain safety. Engineers are working to find and fix the fault. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
