Workers were assaulted on two separate occasions

Police were called to reports of an assault at Go Local, on Folly Lane, Warrington, shortly after 5pm on Monday, August 7. Another attack on a staff member, at the same shop, was then reported on Sunday, August 20, at around 3.40pm.

Officers believe the incidents are linked. Cheshire police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incidents.Police Constable Anees Hussain said: "Enquiries are currently ongoing and as part of our investigation we would like to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image as we believe he may hold vital information. If anyone knows the identity of the man, we urge you to get in touch with us.

"I would also like to appeal directly to the man to come forward.
