An investigation is now underway into the alleged serious assault
A man has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being stabbed in an alleged serious assault in the early hours of this morning. The man, in his 30s, is now in a serious condition, police have said.
The force have arrested a man, aged 28, on suspicion of attempted murder. A 46-year-old woman has also been arrested on suspicion of drugs possession and drink driving. "A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody at this time. A 46-year-old woman was also arrested, on suspicion of possession of Class A controlled drug and driving with excess alcohol in breath.
