The man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
Emergency services rushed to Main Street, Baillieston, to reports of a man being assaulted around 6.10pm.Photographs from the scene show an area of the street cordoned off with police tape as officers stand guard. Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
