A man exposed himself to police after being held in a cell for breaching a court order.
Daryl Downes, 29, performed a sex act on himself at Glasgow's Govan police office on December 15, last year.
He was arrested after ignoring the order not to attend grandfather 78-year-old David Downes' property. Downes banged on the front door which led to him being taken into a cell where he was under surveillance.Downes pleaded guilty this week at Glasgow Sheriff Court to two charges of intentionally engaging in sexual activity.The court heard Downes was released on bail that day for a separate matter.Officers attended David's property in the city's Port Dundas.Downes was later found to kick the door and he was arrested.He also made threats to kill his grandfather.
The court earlier heard Downes was reported to police by onlookers as he performed a sex act on his grandfather's balcony on July 19, 2021.Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month by Sheriff Joan Kerr.
