🔴 A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of nine year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel in Liverpool.
The man, who is aged 36 and from the Huyton area, was also arrested on two counts of attempted murder, Merseyside Police said.Her mum Cheryl Korbel was injured when the gunman fired a shot which went through her wrist and hit Olivia in the chest, police said.
Police say the arrest came after an operation involving armed officers in the Merseyside area last night. Forensic officers near to the scene in Kingsheath Avenue, Liverpool, where Olivia was shot dead on Monday Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Kameen had urged the gunman to hand himself in vowing to track him down even if he had managed to escape Merseyside.An investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to DM @MerPolCC or contact @CrimestoppersUK on 0800 555 111.
