The road is still closed
Merseyside Police were called to Queens Drive, West Derby, at around 10.25am on Sunday, August 27, following reports of a crash. Officers arrived at the scene to find a man riding an orange and black motorbike and a parked black Volkswagen car had crashed.
The man was taken to hospital with serious chest injuries where he remains in a critical condition. Officers at the scene said the road will be closed for a "good few hours".Queens Drive near the junction of Derby Lane is closed whilst police continue their investigations and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
