A man has been taken into custody by police after an hours-long standoff in Boston's Charlestown neighborhood on Saturday.Police were called for a report of an emotionally disturbed person and about fifteen minutes later, witnesses said he was armed with some type of firearm.
Boston police, K-9s, the SWAT team and negotiators were going back and forth with the suspect for hours until finally taking him into custody around 1 a.m. on Sunday.Boston EMS brought the man to a local hospital for evaluations.This morning, he apartment is frozen while detectives wait for a search warrant.
