Alan Shearer may hold the record for the most goals scored in the Premier League, but there was another shearer setting records in Co Tyrone this week.
“In the shearing industry there’s two formats, an eight hour day and a nine hour day and within those there are ewe records and lamb records,” Tom said. “I started training and eating healthier and it was just something I wanted to do within my shearing career. “I had a good 50 strong team who helped me on the day, it was a huge undertaking and I couldn’t have done it without them," he said.
