Football Insider has learned that Man City will struggle to complete a deal for RB Leipzig midfield star Dani Olmo this summer.
that Guardiola’s side will find it difficult to secure a full agreement for the 25-year-old’s signature.RB Leipzig are desperate to keep the Spain international at the club having already lost Christopher Nkunku, Dominik Szoboszlai and Josko Gvardiol so far this summer.
Gvardiol has already made the move to the Etihad Stadium – with Nkunku and Szoboszlai also joining Premier League sides. Olmo has already racked up four goals in just two games in the new campaign – including a hattrick in the DFL-Supercup against Bayern Munich last week. He notched five goals and 11 assists across 31 appearances in all competitions in the 2022-23 campaign.
The midfielder is under contract at Leipzig until June 2027 after penning renewed terms back in June.
