The victim turned up at the hospital with multiple stab wounds after being stabbed in Tuebrook
The victim, in his 20s, was stabbed on West Derby Road outside a row of shops at around 10.30am on Thursday, September 7. It is believed he then took himself to Broadgreen Hospital, at around 10.50am.
Chief Inspector Colin Dyer said: "We are in the very early stages of an investigation and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
