Road closed
A road near Carnforth located closed to the M6 has been closed in both directions as police are urging motorists to avoid the area.
Officers from Cumbria Police and Lancashire Police are at the scene. The A6070 has been closed in both directions between Cinderbarrow Lane and Tarn Lane. Police have confirmed that there has been a crash and are urging people and motorists to avoid the area.A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "Good Morning Lancashire Police and Cumbria Police are dealing with a Road Traffic Collision on Cinderbarrow Lane Burton Carnforth.
"There are road closures in place on Cinderbarrow Lane Tarn Lane and the roundabout for the A6. Please avoid the area Thank you." Traffic monitoring website, INRIX, said: "A6070 in both directions closed, slow traffic due to accident between Tarn Lane and Cinderbarrow Lane."
