The works will affect a stretch of the motorway between Preston and Lancashire
Two months of roadworks will affect the M6 in Lancashire including daytime works and overnight closures.
Work will start on Sunday 3 September 2023 and is scheduled to complete by the end of October 2023. This will include closures, narrowed lanes and reduced speed limits over the stretch which runs between Preston and Lancaster.A spokesperson for National Highways said: "Our essential repair work will require the closure of two lanes of northbound traffic on the M6 during the day, and three lanes overnight, between 8pm and 6am.
