Road policing officers from Lanarkshire and Glasgow stopped the HGV on Friday morning near Junction 6 on the M80 in Cumbernauld.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.said:"Some great teamwork saw Lanarkshire Road Police and Glasgow Road Police safely stop and recover a stolen vehicle this morning on the M80. Good work."
