Liverpool latest transfer rumours as speculation over Boubacar Kamara of Aston Villa will not go away
Liverpool failed to land Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia this summer - but the third of three names said to be "high on the list" to replace Fabinho is yet to move on.
Jurgen Klopp admitted on Friday that his team are still looking. The boss said: "When there are the right players we will have a look. We are definitely still in the market watching and seeing what is going on and what we can do. Kamara had spells out in 2022/23 with knee and ankle issues, but returned to help Unai Emery's side qualify for the Europa Conference League. In all he made 24 league appearances for Villa. "He’s a young player, in terms of age, but he plays with a lot of maturity," ex-Villa boss Gerrard told the club website at the time. "He’s played a lot of games in one of the top five leagues.
"He has got a bit of versatility, but we have signed him as a midfielder. It’s always nice as a manager to know someone can take on tactical information.
