Two houses have been evacuated after a 'large' fire broke out in the north of the county. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the blaze at around 3pm following reports that grass and undergrowth were 'well alight' in Maunleigh, Forest Town.
Fire engines from Ashfield, Mansfield, Blidworth and Alfreton are at the scene. This comes after a series of fires in the north of Nottinghamshire in recent days.
