Witnesses have reported seeing CSI officers at the scene
A road in South Manchester has been closed by police after an incident earlier today.
Officers have taped off part of Wood Road North at the junction with Upper Chorlton Road. Witnesses have also reported seeing Crime Scene Investigators at the scene. The North West Ambulance Service has confirmed that an air ambulance was called to the area, alongside paramedics.One witness reported spotting at least 9 police cars in the area. A moped can be seen on the ground behind the cordon, close to where CSI officers are working.
