Diversion routes have been put in place
Inrix said: "A5099 Central Drive One Way Street closed due to gas leak between Reads Avenue and Vance Road. Traffic is coping well."Lancashire Police are at the scene. Members of the public are urged to avoid the area.
A spokesperson said: "Please be aware we are currently assisting Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service following a suspected gas leak on Central Drive. As a result Central Drive is currently closed between Havelock St and Reads Ave with advice to avoid the area. "
