The little Picanto has been on sale in Britain for the past 19 years while the Niro made its UK debut in 2016.
In this instalment of John Murdoch's Drive Time, Johnspotlights the success of two very popular models from Korean giant Kia and highlights why motorists should pay real attention to lane markings to avoid fines and penalty points.
The first generation of the Kia Picanto went on sale in the UK in May 2004, the 60th anniversary of the founding of the South Korean auto manufacturer. This year it is the second-best selling model in its segment overall - and the best-selling in the retail market. Kia has also announced that the Rio model will be withdrawn from the UK market after production of the Fiesta rival ended in May.
More information about UK specification and pricing for the updated Picanto will be released at a later date.
