Very sad news
An police investigation is underway into the "unexplained" deaths of a man and woman. The force attended an address in Long Bennington, on the Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire border, where a man was found dead and a woman was taken to hospital on Tuesday, August 8.
The woman later died in hospital, Lincolnshire Live reports. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the two deaths. A force spokesperson said: "We were called to an address in Long Bennington at 12.40pm. A man was found deceased and a woman was taken to hospital and subsequently died. We are treating the deaths as unexplained, and our investigation is ongoing."
