Lauren Lee bought a brand new apartment on Castle Wharf in Castlefield
Manchester has seen an increase in new residential towers that have been built for a higher demand of city centre living.
"I went to view the showroom and when I saw the plans and the facilities I fell in love with it. There’s eventually going to be a doctors and a school here so it’s going to be like a proper community feel. “It felt incredible to get on the property ladder at such a young age and I’ve only got my parents to thank, they were really generous and I’m incredibly grateful for that."
The accountant said the flat felt like home straight away. She said: "Seeing all the things I had picked out finally come together in the same room was just such a nice complete feeling. I think it's a really homely building too, everyone is so nice and helps each other out. It's just a really lovely place to live where everyone looks out for each other."
Giving a tour around her apartment, Lauren explained: "When you come in the main bathroom is on your right and then straight in front of you is a cupboard which I use to store shoes and coats to maximise space."
