A horse rider has been airlifted to hospital with 'potentially serious injuries' after a fall near a reservoir.
Mountain rescue volunteers said the casualty had 'fallen from a horse and suffered potentially serious injuries'. When they arrived the air ambulance crew requested the teams assistance to get the casualty to the helicopter due to the terrain.They placed the casualty into the MIBS stretcher before carrying them to the air ambulance for onward transportation to hospital.
"A casualty had fallen from a horse and suffered potentially serious injuries and upon arrival the air ambulance crew requested the teams assistance to get the casualty to the helicopter due to the terrain. The team were deployed and made their way to assist with transferring the casualty to the air ambulance.
