A 12-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car outside of a Scots caravan park

Emergency services were called to the incident on the A921, outside the Pettycur Bay Caravan Park in Kinghorn, shortly after 7pm on Sunday.Photographs from the scene show emergency vehicles blocking off the road which later reopened around 9.50pm. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 7.05pm on Sunday 16 July, to a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on the A921 outside the Pettycur Bay Caravan Park in Kinghorn.
