Orman was paid £10,000 to carry out the slaying of former boxing champ Welsh on the orders of a gangland figure associated with the notorious Lyons clan.He was previously behind bars at Shotts Prison in North Lanarkshire where sources say he was living in fear of reprisals. We told previously how Orman was being protected in maximum security Shotts by hardened criminals with links to the Lyons.
Orman blasted Welsh from a distance of just one metre with a shotgun, the court heard, before fleeing in the Kuga.
