EXCLUSIVE: Helen Skelton has opened up about why the show's iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom will have extra special resonance for her and her family
Strictly Come Dancing star Helen Skelton has opened up about the special meaning tonight’s iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom holds for her.
“I did [Strictly] for my family and Blackpool is a massive thing for them. Yes, it’s a huge privilege for our ballroom dancing and what that means, but actually it was a nice weekend for my family.” She said: “The best thing I ever did was get an alarm clock because it’s so easy to go to bed and scroll through social media. For me, I have two hacks – an alarm clock and a notepad by my bed so when I’ve got loads of things to think about, like school, birthday parties, parking fines... I can write them down and deal with them tomorrow. I need a good sleep and to spend time away from my phone.”She said: “Gorka’s made me join a meditation app.
