Christine Pineda has issued an appeal after losing a locket containing the ashes of her late mother during a trip to the capital.
A heartbroken tourist lost her mother's ashes while visiting Edinburgh. Christine Pineda recently took her father to visit the capital on a trip that they were meant to make with her mum before she passed away in December.
The family had planned to come over from the Philippines to visit their daughter in the UK before the pandemic, however the trip was put off and Revelacion sadly passed away. "We were at the St James Quarter and I checked if she was still there, which she was. I think at some point afterwards, while we were enjoying the city, the locket was lost."
