Concern is growing for a missing pensioner with dementia who was last seen yesterday.

Francis Young, also known as Frank, was last seen on Burnbank Terrace at around 10pm on Friday, January 6.They are appealing for anyone with information on his whereabouts to get in touch.

Inspector Gordon Murphy said:"Given the amount of time Frank has been missing and the fact of his dementia, we are growing increasingly concerned for his wellbeing. "We ask anyone with any information on his whereabouts to call police on 101, quoting incident 1205 of January 7." Frank is described as being white and around 5ft 6in tall with grey/ red short hair, a moustache and glasses.

He may be wearing a green parker-style jacket and a bracelet with his name and address on it, due to being a dementia sufferer.
