Thomas and Marie Gillespie, who face losing their home of 24 years, say they were offered the emergency accommodation from the local council.
These shocking pictures show the inside of a flat that a dad-of-seven was offered from a local council.
He was ultimately told he had to leave the school property by Thursday, August 31 - and was offered temporary accommodation. A letter from the school states the couple can now remain in the caretaker's house until 4pm on Monday, September 4. The couple's daughter Michelle, 37, said: "The accommodation, it you can even call it that, was absolutely disgusting. There were mouse droppings on the floor. I'm just shocked nobody had been to check the accommodation was suitable."
