Nicola Geddes is full of praise for Glasgow's Royal Hospital for Children, who have been treating her six-month-old daughter, Aria, after she was born with Apert Syndrome.
A mum has paid tribute to a Glasgow hospital that supported her during the "most stressful" time of her life, when her daughter was born with a rare condition.
It is part of a wider condition known as Craniosynostosis - where one or more of the gaps in an infant's skull fuses prematurely, which can affect cranial growth, skull development and head shape. Nicola, who lives in Baillieston, previously told GlasgowLive: "We were very frightened, it’s the scariest thing in the world and it was unexpected as well.
"We can’t believe how well she does with everything, we are bursting with pride and have the most special little girl ever. There’s nothing stopping her and we don’t see her as any different to another child."
