Dad-of-three Peter Pender has been remembered as a 'great man' following his death at the age of 54 after a seven-year battle with bladder cancer which he was told was terminal last year.
Tributes have been paid to a dad-of-three from Pollok who passed away after a seven-year battle with bladder cancer.The 54-year-old managed to marry the love of his life Dianne in 2022 after generous businesses donated their services to make the big day happen before it was too late.
Among those who paid tribute to Peter following his death was Wedding Wish Makers who were able to get the couple down the aisle. LME Occasions added: "So happy to be a part of their amazing day. We send our deepest sympathies to the family."One person wrote: "Rest easy Peter sorry for your loss Dianne, Peter was a great man and will be sorely missed"
