A terminally ill dad from Glasgow has tragically died a year after marrying his sweetheart of 23 years. The 54-year-old had tied the knot with his soulmate Dianne, 43, in July last year just weeks after doctors told the family they didn't know how long he had left.Peter sadly discovered that the disease had tragically returned when the dad-of-three attended a routine CT scan last year, reports the Daily Record.
"We will miss him so much. All I know is Peter and I feel completely lost without him, it's as though part of my soul went with him.The couple got married at Thomas Coats Memorial Baptist Church in Paisley and were able to enjoy a final year filled with special memories before Peter's death earlier this week. The wedding, which was organised by Wedding Wish Makers, saw the couple surrounded by their friends and family as they tied the knot.
"We got engaged on June 1 and we got married on July 15 and within that time Wedding Wish Makers had helped with everything. The day of the wedding was amazing. I wish I could go back in time and just relive that day forever.
