A petition calling for action to be taken to address the amount of 'disturbing' youth violence in Glasgow will go before Parliament.
The community activist said more police resources must be made available to keep kids and the public safe following a string of incidents - some of which have been filmed and circulated on social media.His petition, now named Abbie's petition after the 12-year-old victim of a violent attack, has attracted nearly 3,000 signatures.
Along with Abbie's mother Angela, the pair want to see better bullying interventions put in place in schools, social care facilities, and on the streets to prevent violent acts from taking place.
