A former school site in East Dunbartonshire will be turned into a housing estate.

confirmed that the former Auchinairn Primary School site to the Housing Service, to be developed for housing.

Council Leader Gordan Low explained, “At our council meeting in June we agreed that rather than proceed to sell the former Auchinairn Primary school site we should transfer it to our Housing Revenue Account to be developed for much-needed affordable housing in the area. “It is great news that we are now in the process of completing this transfer and will then look to undertake a feasibility study of the site to determine the number and type of affordable homes we can
