More than 55,500 people across Scotland are now receiving up to £691 each month from the new disability benefit.
Adult Disability Payment rolled out nationwide across Scotland on August 29 last year after a phased introduction across local council areas which began in March. The devolved benefit has now replaced all new claims for Personal Independence Payment in Scotland and more than 298,400 existing claimants will be transferred from the Department for Work and Pensions system to Social Security Scotland in a phased migration by the end of 2025.
