Ferrari rebuff claims that they will replace Mattia Binotto as team principle
Reports have suggested that Binotto could be leave Ferrari at the end of the season, however these have been played downDespite holding a huge lead in both the Driver and Constuctors’ championships, Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz fell away and allowed Red Bull to dominate.are reporting that Fred Vasseur is set to replace him.
The 54-year-old was first considered by the Scuderia last summer, but is now being lined up to come in in January following the conclusion of the 2022 campaign. Currently the team principle of F1 team Alfa Romeo, Vasseur’s side are in line with finish sixth in this season’s Constructors’ Championship, with the team’s engines currently being supplied by Ferrari.
With that form and those links, speculation is mounting that the 54-year-old is the man to replace Binotto.
