Report: ‘A lot of chatter around’ Mattia Binotto’s Ferrari future after turbulent 2022A report from Italy claims there is currently doubt surrounding Mattia Binotto’s future as Ferrari team principal, with the team having fallen out of form.
With Mercedes having seemingly leapfrogged Ferrari in terms of outright performance in recent races, Turrini believes change could be afoot at the team – although his personal view is it would be an error to remove the current team principal. When asked about potential successors at Ferrari, Turrini responded: “There are many self-nominations! We’ll see, we’ll see…”What the 2022 season has made abundantly clear, and the views of many pundits from the world of Formula 1 agree, is something at Ferrari has to change.
