The weather hasn't dampened spirits
Excited families have been flocked to Nottingham Beach this weekend after it made its return to Nottingham city centre for the first time in three years. The beach, one of Nottingham's much-loved regular attractions, opened to the public on Monday, July 25, in Old Market Square.
A number of new attractions have also been introduced. As well as its usual sand and water, the beach offers exciting new rides and slides, including a new slip 'n' slide called The Arrow, where beach fans can race each other to the bottom. "It's cool, obviously today is not the nicest day it's quite cloudy but the stools on the side there make it a good occasion."
"Obviously this is the best we're going to get because the closest beach is so far away which is a shame but you can't ask for much more than this. Any chance to get away to the beach!"
