Everton transfer news, rumours, gossip and speculation including the latest on

Hello and welcome to our Everton FC live blog for Saturday, September 9.

Blues summer signing Jack Harrison has been part of the discussion at his parent club, Leeds United. The Whites CEO Angus Kinnear has expressed his surprise at the winger's move to Goodison Park. England captain Harry Kane, meanwhile, has backed Everton midfielder Dele to return to the top of his game. The former Tottenham Hotspur star spoke openly about his battle with addiction and depression, in an interview with Gary Neville.

As it stands, the former Three Lions international is recovering from injury after undergoing hip surgery which cut-short his loan spell with Turkish outfit Besiktas. Despite the window shutting, it has been reported that ex-Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes could still be a departure at Goodison Park. According to reports, Everton are pushing for a move for the Portugal midfielder which would see another big-earner off their books.
