Street parties and family-friendly events are taking place across Rossendale to mark the historic occasion
With an extra bank holiday to mark the coronation of King Charles III many of us will be looking at ways to celebrate the weekend when he ascends to the throne.
May 6: Coronation Proms concert from 7.30pm at The Circle in Fern Street. The event has been organised by 82nd Rossendale Scouts and tickets cost £12 each.May 8: Bacup Nats will close their time capsule at an event taking place from 12 noon until 4pm at 24 Yorkshire Street. Rawtenstall May 5: The foodbank at Positive Start in Bury Road will have activities and food on offer to visitors.May 7: Cowpe Community Hall will host a picnic from 12 noon.May 7: Newchurch Village Community Association will host a right royal tea party at The Little Park in Church Street from 12 noon until 3pm.
