A member of the crew had to be replaced
An easyJet plane had to make an emergency landing after a member of crew suffered a medical incident on board. The flight from Belfast to Corfu was diverted to Manchester shortly after take-off on Thursday afternoon.
easyJet says flight EZY3057 was forced to divert to Manchester after a member of cabin crew required 'urgent medical attention'. After landing, the flight then continued to Corfu when a replacement crew member stood in, reports MEN. In a statement, a spokesperson for easyJet said: "We can confirm that flight EZY3057 from Belfast to Corfu diverted to Manchester due to a cabin crew member requiring urgent medical attention.
"A replacement crew has been found and the flight is continuing to Corfu. We would like to thank passengers for their patience and understanding. The safety and wellbeing of our crew and passengers is always easyJet's highest priority."
