The passengers claim they were told they would be put on the 'no-fly list' if they refused to sit on the seats
Passengers were allegedly kicked-off their flight due to refusing to sit on "wet, vomit-covered seats". The flyers were escorted off the plane after they reportedly told a flight attendant they couldn't sit in the seats for the five hour Air Canada flight.
Benson went on to recall what she claims happened: "There was a bit of a foul smell but we didn’t know at first what the problem was. Apparently, on the previous flight someone had vomited in that area. Air Canada attempted a quick clean-up before boarding but clearly wasn't able to do a thorough clean."
Speaking to USA TODAY, Benson called the incident "unacceptable", and said: "The passengers were clearly upset and clearly bothered. They were not rude, not yelling, not belligerent. They were firm and just insistent that she couldn't sit in that." Benson says the first being "they could leave the plane on their own accord and organise flights on their own dime". Or, "they would be escorted off the plane by security and placed on a no fly list."
