Road policing officers clocked a vehicle going 97mph - almost double the speed limit of 50mph - on the M8 at Junction 14, shortly after 3am.
A speeding driver who allegedly fled from cops on the M8 was found after crashing into a building in the early hours of the morning.A car then smashed into a building on Duke Street, Glasgow, and the driver reportedly tried to flee the scene on foot.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "Around 3.05am on Friday, 28 July, 2023 officers were involved with a pursuit of a vehicle which was speeding on the M8 in Glasgow.Top news stories today "There were no reports of any injuries. Road Policing Scotland added: "A busy night for #GlasgowRP. This vehicle was spotted at nearly double the speed limit just after 3AM on the #M8 at #J14.
