Insiders claim King Charles was 'genuinely quite disappointed' that Prince Harry left immediately after his Coronation - but made a sweet toast to grandson Prince Archie on his birthday.
A palace insider has claimed King Charles made a toast to grandson Prince Archie after the Coronation and was reportedly "gutted" youngest son Prince Harry left straight away.
None of the royals released birthday messages, with his own parents Harry and Meghan even staying silent, but the King did pay tribute to his grandson at the lunch. "It was apparently a very sweet moment," a source told Daily Mail. As well as the new King and Queen, there were other members of the Royal Family present at the lunch.
But there was a more 'modern take' Coronation chicken canapes as the King and Queen are not fans of the famous dish.
