Popular breakfast options such as butter on toast could help reduce your risk of developing dementia, according to one study.
Scientists collected data from 86,000 adults without a dementia diagnosis when the study began. The participants were all over the age of 65 and living in the UK, US and Australia. Experts predict that more than a million Brits will suffer with the progressive disease by the end of the decade. Currently, around 944,000 people across the UK have dementia, with around 90,000 Scots currently living with the health condition.
