The Italian pro-cyclist can no longer compete in the races 😟
A cyclist competing in the UCI World Championships in Glasgow broke his bones after a collision with an e-bike rider in the city. Simone Consonni was riding on a cycle path which runs along the River Clyde moments before the incident.
Consonni and team-mate Francesco Lamon were both returning from a training ride when they were involved in the crash, which happened close to the Italian team hotel by Glasgow's Exhibition Centre.
