The hit show is back on our screens tonight.
The hit series follows the fictional Glasgow-based Marine Homicide Unit as they solve gory crimes with the team, led by Norwegian-born detective Annika Strandhed, played by Nicola Walker.
Craig Reid, an employee for Scottish Water, found himself in the midst of all the action as he swapped hi vis and safety gear for a tactical duty vest as he became an armed cop in the programme - joining the star-studded cast and crew while they filmed at Sheildhall Waste Water Treatment Works on the Clyde. The scenes involved an epic gun fight with armed police giving chase to baddies and Craig was delighted to get the chance to make his dramatic TV debut.
He added: “I have to say the film crew’s awareness of everything on site, particularly when it came to health and safety was extremely good. “Everyone was fully aware of the issues, and it was great to be able to work alongside the cast and crew.”
